The High Kick
The High Kick project introduces a novel concept: a kickable standing lamp. By reimagining how we interact with a lamp, this design challenges the conventional script. To turn the lamp on and off, adults must kick it, embracing a playful and unconventional approach.Additionally, the lamp features an adjustable lampshade that can be raised and lowered to accommodate different heights and preferences.
This project was part of my MFA thesis, Burn It All Down: Deconstructing the Toxicity of Seriousness.

Designed to make adults interact with a obect in a non-adult way. Weather B*tch can be snoozed with a slap.
The cork at the top can plug Weather B*tches mouth, silencing the weather report.
